4 Vocabulary Definitions The definition provides an explanation of the word. Carefully read the word and the definition.

5 Definitions To find the definition of a word, a person may use a dictionary or a glossary. The definition helps you understand the meaning of a word.

8 Grasshoppers A grasshopper can jump twenty times the length of his body. Definition : Plural of grasshopper: an insect with long, powerful legs for jumping.

10 Antennae Grasshoppers use their antennae to touch and smell. Definition : Plural of antenna: an insect feeler.

11 Fussy Most grasshoppers aren’t fussy about what plants they eat. Any green plants will do. Definition : Hard to please.
