2 PurposePurpose Review the functions associated with the FRAMES Constituent Database from within FRAMES. Review the procedure for selecting a different database after a simulation has been completed
3 Functions Associated with the FRAMES Constituent Database
4 Select a Constituent Database Right click on the database icon. Choose General Info. Choose a constituent database. Choose FRAMES Constituent Database Selection.
5 Access the User Interface Right click on the database icon. Choose User Input.
6 Select Constituents of Concern 2 1 3 4 5 1.Choose how the constituent list should be grouped 2.Identifies the number of constituents in list 3.Type in name to find constituent in list 4.Highlight name and push Select 5.The selected constituent appears on the right screen.
7 Select Constituents of Concern The order associated with the lists are not correlated. Alphabetical Order Numerical Order based on CASID Constituent Listings based on Name or CASID
8 Listed by Chemical Attributes Listed by Exposure Class Inhalation/Ingestion Chemical/Radionuclide Carcinogen/Non-carcinogen Listed to support specific types of unique assessments; in this case, a RAAS (i.e., remedial alternative) analysis. Listed according to the Periodic Table

16 1.Delete the existing Constituent database icon 2.Drag-and-Drop a new Constituent Icon from the Icon Palette 3.General Info: Choose new database 4.User Input: Select constituents 5.Many of the original non-contaminant-specific data in the modules will remain, so the user does not have to re-enter data.
