Presentation on theme: "Dear Friend As the New Year Begins just wanted to give you some things to think about - and some ideas for new year’s resolutions. May God Always bless."— Presentation transcript:
.- Organize your house, your room and your office/desk.
.- Don’t waste your time worrying about things for which you have no control over!.
.- Realize that life is a school - and that we are here to learn whether the day is happy or sad, good or bad... There is always something POSITIVE you can learn from your experiences.
.- Patience, Persistance, Positvity - Dont forget the three P’s.
.- Smile more - and don’t keep it to yourself !
.- Don’t ever pass up a chance to give a HUG to someone you care about.
.- Life is WAY TO SHORT - to be spending it - with angry or hateful feelings toward others. Or feeling offended or bitter over what others have done to you.
.- Don’t take life too seriously! And dont think you’re the center of the universe.
.- You don’t have to win every argument! Respect others who may have a different perspective on things. Be willing to allow a difference of opinion. Agree to disagree.
.- Get over your past - and don’t let it drag you down. Life isnt a race where only the first person wins. He wins who gets up everytime he falls.
.- Quit comparing yourself to others. No one has walked in your shoes - and you have not walked in theirs. Quit feeling sorry for yourself.
.- No one is in charge of or owes you happiness out of life. Its up to YOU to FIND it or to MAKE it.
.- Remember you may not have control over what happens to you in life - but you are in control out of what you make of such experiences. No one can steal the smile from your face... Only you can let it go.
.- Never pass up an opportunity to learn something new - no matter how old you are.
.- Be more concerned with what your Father in Heaven thinks of you - then what your neigbors may think of you.
.- Make a list of all the things you are thankful for! Get on your knees and say a prayer of gratitude without asking for anything.
.- No matter how good or how bad things get - always remember the situation will always eventually change.
.- When your life has come and gone – it won’t matter much the house you had, the car you drove, the title you held.... What will matter most will be the relationships of friendship and love that can continue on into eternity.
.- Remember what Thumper said - If you cant say anything nice – then don’t say anything at all.
.- Nothing good ever comes of unproductive envy of others and their material possessions.
