NEEDED: A PERFECT SAVIOR… Hebrews 7:11 If perfection could have been attained through the Levitical priesthood, why was there still need for another priest to come…?
NEEDED: A PERFECT SAVIOR… Hebrews 7:24-27 Because Jesus lives forever, He has a permanent priesthood. Therefore He is able to save completely those who come to God through Him, because He always lives to intercede for them.
NEEDED: A PERFECT SAVIOR… Hebrews 7:24-27 Such a high priest meets our need-- one who is holy, blameless, pure, set apart from sinners, exalted above the heavens.
NEEDED: A PERFECT SAVIOR… Hebrews 7:24-27 Unlike the other high priests, He does not need to offer sacrifices day after day, first for His own sins, and then for the sins of the people. He sacrificed for their sins once for all when He offered Himself.
NEEDED: A PERFECT SAVIOR… Hebrews 9:11-14 When Christ came as high priest of the good things that are already here, He went through the greater and more perfect tabernacle that is not man-made, that is to say, not a part of this creation.
NEEDED: A PERFECT SAVIOR… Hebrews 9:11-14 He did not enter by means of the blood of goats and calves; but He entered the Most Holy Place once for all by His own blood, having obtained eternal redemption.
NEEDED: A PERFECT SAVIOR… Hebrews 9:11-14 The blood of goats and bulls and the ashes of a heifer sprinkled on those who are ceremonially unclean sanctify them so that they are outwardly clean.
NEEDED: A PERFECT SAVIOR… Hebrews 9:11-14 How much more, then, will the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered Himself unblemished to God, cleanse our consciences from acts that lead to death, so that we may serve the living God!
NEEDED: AN ADEQUATE SACRIFICE… Hebrews 10:5-14 Therefore, when Christ came into the world, He said: "Sacrifice and offering You did not desire, but a body you prepared for Me; with burnt offerings and sin offerings You were not pleased.
NEEDED: AN ADEQUATE SACRIFICE… Hebrews 10:5-14 Then I said, 'Here I am--it is written about Me in the scroll-- I have come to do Your will, O God.' " First He said, “Sacrifices and offerings, burnt offerings and sin offerings You did not desire, nor were You pleased with them" (although the law required them to be made).
NEEDED: AN ADEQUATE SACRIFICE… Hebrews 10:5-14 Then he said, "Here I am, I have come to do Your will." He sets aside the first to establish the second. And by that will, we have been made holy through the sacrifice of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.
NEEDED: AN ADEQUATE SACRIFICE… Hebrews 10:5-14 Day after day every priest stands and performs his religious duties; again and again he offers the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins. But when this priest had offered for all time one sacrifice for sins, He sat down at the right hand of God.
NEEDED: AN ADEQUATE SACRIFICE… Hebrews 10:5-14 Since that time He waits for His enemies to be made His footstool, because by one sacrifice He has made perfect forever those who are being made holy.
NEEDED: AN ADEQUATE SACRIFICE… John 1:29 The next day John saw Jesus coming toward him and said, "Look, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world!”
NEEDED: AN ADEQUATE SACRIFICE… 2 Corinthians 5:21 God made Him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in Him we might become the righteousness of God.
NEEDED: INDISPUTABLE PROOF… John 19:41-42 At the place where Jesus was crucified, there was a garden, and in the garden a new tomb, in which no one had ever been laid.
NEEDED: INDISPUTABLE PROOF… John 19:40-42 Because it was the Jewish day of Preparation and since the tomb was nearby, they laid Jesus there.
NEEDED: INDISPUTABLE PROOF… 1 Corinthians 15:3-5 For what I received I passed on to you as of first importance: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures,
NEEDED: INDISPUTABLE PROOF… 1 Corinthians 15:3-5 that He was buried, that He was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures,
NEEDED: INDISPUTABLE PROOF… 1 Corinthians 15:3-5 and that He appeared…He appeared…He appeared… to Peter, and then to the Twelve…and others.
NEEDED: INDISPUTABLE PROOF… Romans 1:4 (He) was declared with power to be the Son of God by His resurrection from the dead: Jesus Christ our Lord.
NEEDED: INDISPUTABLE PROOF… Romans 4:24-25 God will credit righteousness--for us who believe in Him who raised Jesus our Lord from the dead. He was delivered over to death for our sins and was raised to life for our justification.
NEEDED: INDISPUTABLE PROOF… John 20:9 They still did not understand from Scripture that Jesus had to rise from the dead.
HOLY GOD JE S US N I WE ARE DECLARED HOLY THROUGH FAITH UNITY FRIENDSHIP WITH GOD? S
DID YOU SAY JESUS IS THE “ONLY” WAY TO GOD? 1 John 5:11-12 And this is the testimony: God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son. He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life.
