4 Hebrew Words for Redeem or Redemption Genesis 48:16 – Exodus 6:6  Gā-al : Indicates the redeemer-kinsman concept found in Ruth. Includes the concept of the right of redemption.

5 Hebrew Words for Redeem or Redemption  Pādāh : This word means to ransom or redeem. When used to describe God, it emphasizes His freedom to ransom mankind. Isaiah 29:22 Psalms 71:23 2 Samuel 7:22-23
