Brazil is home to at least 103,870 animal species and between 43,000 and 49,000 plant species. Each year about 700 new animal species are discovered in Brazil! Brazil Facts It is estimated that 20% of the world’s biodiversity is found in Brazil.
The Amazon The Amazon rainforest is the largest rainforest in the world. The Amazon river is over 6,600 km long. The Amazon is home to one in ten of all known animals and plants.
