4 War went badly for Greeks Begged Achilles to return Best friend Patroclus took Achilles’ armor and went into battle Killed many, but slain by Hector

5 The Return of Achilles Achilles mourned and grieved for Patroclus in tent Mother Thetis came to comfort him Convinced him to rejoin battle with new armor made by smith-god Hepheastus
