4 Chemical Formula for Photosynthesis Sunlight + 6CO 2 + 6H 2 O = 6O 2 + C 6 H 12 O 6 The plant’s chlorophyll uses sunlight, carbon dioxide and water to make oxygen and glucose (food).

5 Cellular Respiration is the process by which the a cell combines oxygen with glucose (carbohydrates/food) and releases water, carbon dioxide and energy (ATP).
