Rajba nu jeevan charitra Rajba was born in a kathi family in vankia village of kathiawar. Her mother was Jivuba’s sister At the tender age of 15 vairagya had already started sprouting in her. Her parents fixed her engagement to Ram Jebli which she did not approve of. Following Maharaj’s orders, Rajba went back and got married as Maharaj had assured her, he will help her.
When her husband came into the room, he first saw a human form but as he went nearer he saw a lioness instead. He told his family to send Rajba back. After getting a written letter from Ram Jebli’s she went back to Gadhada. She broke her 18 day fast at Gadhada.
She took the following vows at River Ghela – Not to see the face of am unrelated male for the whole of her life – To walk or sit 10 yards further away from men, – To eat only once a day; meal with no ghee, jaggery etc. – To sleep after 12 midnight on bare floor, – To wake up early at 4 O’Clock in the morning.
After Maharaj and Muktanand Swami had gone to Akshardham, Rajba announced her intent of serving The Lord in Akshardham. She wanted her ashes buried 18 yards deep so no male could touch it. Such was the bhakti of Rajba. She was a nishkam vairagya murti.
