1 The Father’s Love The Children’s Kingdom Mark 10:13-16 “Yet to all who received him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God— 13 children born not of natural descent, nor of human decision or a husband's will, but born of God.” John 1:12-13

2 Mark 10:13-16 “People were bringing little children to Jesus to have him touch them, but the disciples rebuked them. 14 When Jesus saw this, he was indignant. He said to them, "Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these.

3 Mark 10:13-16 15 I tell you the truth, anyone who will not receive the kingdom of God like a little child will never enter it." 16 And he took the children in his arms, put his hands on them and blessed them.”

4 “Is it lawful for a man to divorce his wife?” Mark 10:2. “As Jesus started on his way, a man ran up to him and fell on his knees before him. ‘Good teacher,’ he asked, ‘what must I do to inherit eternal life?’” Mark 10:17. “Children, how hard it is to enter the kingdom of God! It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God.” Mark 10:24-25.

10 Child-like Faith Faith is not primarily intellectual.Faith is not primarily intellectual. It is simple.It is simple. Coming to Jesus requires humility.Coming to Jesus requires humility. “I tell you the truth, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven. 4 Therefore, whoever humbles himself like this child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven.” Matthew 18:3-4.
