2. YOU MUST CHALLENGE AND LEAD PEOPLE TO WORSHIP THE LORD, THE ONLY LIVING AND TRUE GOD, IN SPIRIT AND IN TRUTH. John 4:23-24 23 But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him. 24 God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth. 1 Chronicles 16:29 29 Give unto the L ORD the glory due unto his name: bring an offering, and come before him: worship the L ORD in the beauty of holiness. Preaching is God’s chosen method to save men. 1 Corinthians 1:18 18 For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God. 21 For after that in the wisdom of God the world by wisdom knew not God, it pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe Because the minister is held accountable to preach. 1 Corinthians 9:16 16 For though I preach the gospel, I have nothing to glory of: for necessity is laid upon me; yea, woe is unto me, if I preach not the gospel!
