4. Globalization Articles and Tutorial 3/3/2015 In Groups… (check assigned roles on board) Using the articles from yesterday, we will take two minutes to record responses for the following prompts. Identify Three factors leading to increased globalization. Identify two factors threatening globalization. Identity two criticisms against globalization.

5. Article Conclusions I would like to take this opportunity to examine how we can answer guiding questions for current events. How could the topic of “Globalization” be connected to other issues we may read about? How could the Forbes article be used to answer the following guiding question: What are the implications of living in an increasingly interconnected global economy (answer it through the lens of the article)

6. For example The article highlights the “integration and interdependence of local and national markets” such as those in the European Union. It goes on to discuss how they have supported one another through a “virtuous cycle” of economic support threatened by slow growth and mounting debt. In turn, this has given rise to old animosities and a resurgence in nationalism. The implications are increased Conflict, failing Economies, etc.

What other information might I need to emphasize “relevance and importance to the world”?
