4 WHAT DO I HAVE TO LOSE BY NOT PARTICIPATING? If you are do not enroll in State of Colorado benefits, you will be dropped and you will not have coverage in FY 2015-16 (July 1, 2015 – June, 30, 2016). Flexible spending accounts—If you opened a FSA accounts during Open Enrolment for FY 2014-15, you must re-enroll in each account to reactivate them. After May 14, 2015, you can’t make any changes to your benefits until next year.

16 FLEXIBLE SPENDING ACCOUNTS (MUST RE-ENROLL) Flexible Spending Accounts (FSAs) allow you to set aside pre-tax dollars to pay for out-of-pocket healthcare or dependent day care expenses. 1. 1. 17 FSA CARRYOVER PROVISION You will be allowed to carryover up to $500 of unused healthcare FSA funds from the FY 2014-15 plan year to the FY 2015-16 plan year.
