3 Market Access Program (MAP) Designed to assist small and medium sized exporters achieve the objectives of their export plans Who is eligible?  registered small and medium sized South Australian businesses  ineligible for Austrade’s EMDG Scheme Maximum of 3 grants per financial year or $15,000 per year on a dollar-for-dollar basis www.southaustralia.biz

4 ELIGIBLE ACTIVITIES FOR MAP Outgoing Export-Oriented Missions - Maximum grant of $5,000 ($2,000 cap on travel & Accommodation Group application – Project Manager plus 3 companies minimum - Maximum grant of $75,000 Incoming Export-Related Missions - Maximum grant of $1,000 – (individual) - Maximum grant of $5,000 - (group) Other activities to increase export capability - Maximum grant of $1,000 per financial year www.southaustralia.biz

5 Ineligible Expenses www.southaustralia.biz Items of a capital nature such as luggage, mobile telephones, printers and portable display stands Meals and beverages Domestic on-ground transport (exception at the promotional end of an export- oriented trade show conducted in Australia) Entertainment expenses Activities which have received funding from another government agency Any materials produced by, or research and project management provided from within, the requesting company Facilitation payments or anything which contravenes the Criminal Code Amendment (Bribery of Foreign Public Officials) Act 1999, or anything which is otherwise illegal Any activity which is not business related
