Over 11 million dollars in Scholarship Money Last year!!!

4 And more… Notable acceptances include: West Point, The Air Force Academy, The Coast Guard Academy, Harvard University, The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Duke University, Wake Forest University, Wingate, Woffard, Furman, Ohio State, Wooster, Virginia Tech, North Carolina State University, Elon, Clemson, University of Pittsburgh, Embry Riddle, Rensselaer Polytechnic, University of South Carolina, Campbell University, Baylor University, Florida Institute of Technology, High Point University, the Marine Maritime Academy, Loyola University, and The University of Tulsa, just to name a few. Of the 66 2014 Diploma Programme graduates, all 66 were accepted into institutions of higher education, with 65 planning on attending in the fall. These 66 students garnered scholarship monies totaling around 9 million dollars, notably including: 3 full tuition scholarships to Wake Forest 2 full tuition scholarships to Duke University a national merit scholarship to Harvard The Park scholarship to North Carolina State University The Kenan Global Scholarship to UNC Chapel Hill The Goodnight Scholarship to North Carolina State University The Centennial Scholarship to North Carolina State University 2 national merit qualifiers

9 Assessment IB Assessment rubrics will be utilized to evaluate work in the same way that these were utilized at the middle school level. However, for those of you at Mt. Mourne school, grades will be posted as percentage scores throughout the year and grades will be comprised of a blend of assessments designed to ensure mastery of IB and North Carolina learning targets for course credit.
