Lowry Burgess Carnegie Mellon University’s College of Fine Arts and Carnegie Museum of Art. Created the first official nonscientific art payload taken into outer Space by NASA in 1989. Lowry has been a Dean, Fellow and Service Consultant at the Center for Advanced Visual Studies, MIT. The NSS awarded him the Leonardo Da Vinci Space Art Award.
