3 Prophecies - predicting the future events and changes which will happen in your life by other people. Prophecies are often declaimed by fortune-tellers. They can come true or not. Fortune-teller - is a being (e.g. a woman, a demon or an angel) that has power to put spells and is present literature, art and films. It tells the fortune by using the crystal ball or cards.

5 There are different types of the divination: - divination by means of fire - divination by means of air - divination by means of water - divination by means of earth

7 Divination by means of water- consists in interpreting phenomena which occur on the surface of the water. The phenomena like rising tides, outflows, streams were also included in a fortune-telling. Divination by means of fire - bursting and fierce fire was considered as good omen, whereas fire which smouldered was considered as unfavourable omen.

9 Prophecies can be regarded by some people as nonsense. According to them, prophecies can be contrary to the religion and practised faith.
