4 What is the purpose of the field trip?
To further heighten the experience of students by visiting factories and kitchens that showcase the production of goods – people involved in the process and how things are made.

5 Who are going? • 12 Kinder students • 5 Teachers (Ms. Concio, Ms. Juanson, Ms. Kalapaca, Mr. Saclo and Ms. Li) Student-Teacher Ratio: 3:1

February 13, 2014 (Thursday) 7:30-9:00am Candle making with Life Project for the Youth 9:00-9:15am Snacks and get ready to depart for Profoods 9:15-10:00am Travel to Profoods International 10:00-11:15am Profoods tour 11:15-12:00nn Travel back to school 12:00-12:30pm Lunch in school 12:45 - 2:20pm Recycled bags making with Rise Above Foundation 2:20-2:30pm Wrap up

7 Life Project for the Youth
French NGO working with young adults to rebuild their lives through livelihood programs

8 Rise Above Foundation A group of volunteers from different countries who help improve the lives of the underprivileged by providing educational opportunities, livelihood training, health and hygiene programs

9 Profoods International
Maguikay, Mandaue Dried fruits and processed fruit products producer

10 Other matters: Students may bring money if they wish to purchase any of the products. During dismissal time, parents may purchase candles or bags, if interested. Deadline of permission slips is on Feb. 6, Thursday. You may pay the fees directly to the cashier.
