What is difficult for you in English class? (reading, writing, research, communicating) And why? What are some things about English class that you did last year that were successful for you? What are some things about English class that you did last year that you didn’t like or that weren’t successful for you? Explain What are some goals you have for yourself in English this year? What do you expect of your English teacher(s) this year? Please include anything else you would like to share. SECTION III: ENGLISH

1. THE LETTER MUST START WITH A GREETING: (DEAR…) 2. THE LETTER MUST END WITH A CLOSING: (SINCERELY,…) 3. YOU MUST WRITE USING COMPLETE SENTENCES AND STANDARD ENGLISH FORMAT: HOW TO WRITE THE LETTER

7 Letter is written in letter format and includes a proper greeting and closing
10 Letter contains one paragraph for each discussion point 20 Letter is written using complete sentences and standard English Letter is legible and turned in on time RUBRIC
