4 Jean-Pierre.Veran@hia.nrc.ca Adaptive Optics Laboratory P.I.: Dr. Inna Sharf, Uvic mechanical engineering Goals: –Build an MCAO laboratory bench including turbulence and source generators. –Demonstrate MCAO concept. –Assess performance of MCAO. –Develop and test new control algorithm. –Investigate miniature AO (MEMs). –Use the bench to educate students. Duration: 2 years (2001-2002)
