1 LBT AO Progress Meeting, Arcetri Walter Seifert (ZAH, LSW) The LBT AO System and LUCIFER 1.Requirements for the commissioning of LUCIFER: performance of the AO system? 2.Open Item: NIR TT or only ‚slow‘ flexure sensor, which detector? 3.Open Item: Dichroic entrance window, which cut-off/-on wavelength?

2 LBT AO Progress Meeting, Arcetri Walter Seifert (ZAH, LSW) Commissioning of LUCIFER 1.Commissioning of LUCIFER seeing-limited modes: we need a stable configuration (over about 15-30min) of the secondary mirror, with image quality better than seeing +20%. Maybe fast field- stabilization, AGW more or less fully operational. 2.Commissioning of LUCIFER diffraction-limited modes: the AO system has to be basically operational and should deliver (high) constant Strehl over about 5-15min at least.
