Windows Users If installed, Nikon View will display the Nikon Transfer window Click the transfer button Nikon Browser Window will be displayed w/ pictures Confirm transfer and remove camera Macintosh Users: Mac OS X (10.1.2-10.1.5) before turning on camera Select Applications from the Go menu Double-click on the Image Capture icon Select None from Automatic Task and from Hot Plug Action

Windows Users To remove camera Windows XP – Safely Remove Hardware Windows 2000 – Unplug or Eject Hardware Windows ME - Unplug or Eject Hardware Windows 98 SE - Eject Macintosh Users: Mac OS X (10.2) before connecting camera Select Applications from Finder Go menu Double-click the Image Capture icon Capture Dialog Window will appear Select Preferences Under Camera Preferences next to “When a Camera is Connected, Open” select No Application

Windows Users: w/o Nikon View If using Windows XP, The AutoPlay window appears Choices in AutoPlay Window Copy Pictures to a Folder View Slide Show of Images Print the Pictures View the Images Open a Folder to View File Take no Action Make choice Macintosh Users Mac OS X (10.1.2-10.1.5) users Turn camera on Nikon Transfer window will appear – click Transfer icon Mac OS X (10.2) users Connect camera Turn camera on Nikon Transfer window will appear – click Transfer icon

Windows Users Remove camera Windows XP – Safely Remove Hardware Windows 2000 – Unplug or Eject Hardware Windows ME - Unplug or Eject Hardware Windows 98 SE - Eject Macintosh Users (all) Nikon Transfer window will appear Nikon browser window will appear w/ pictures Pictures will be copied to a folder in Documents Drag the untitled disk corresponding to the camera into the trash Turn camera off Disconnect USB cable
