The definition of initiation is the action of beginning something. This is exactly what the Initiating stage is. It is the official launch of the project. To initiate a project, it is necessary to clarify the projects purpose, identify the stakeholders, designate user requirements, establish the project objectives, generate options to carry out the objectives, and evaluate options.
3
Project Purpose- A sound purpose for the project must be identified before the project can begin. Once you meet with your sponsor you need to have a clear purpose. Stakeholders- A stakeholder is someone who sponsors the project or someone who gains something form the completion of a project. User Requirements- In this stage needs must be clarified from wants. If there are any conflicting needs identify them and address them.
4
Project Objectives- The objectives of a project fall into three categories. Time, Cost, and Quality. For quality, there may be several objectives that relate. Options- To carry out the objectives identified in the last step, options must be explored. There will be a wide variety of options to choose from. Evaluate Options- When evaluating the options it is important to keep in mind the objectives and risks.

Human resources are your personnel. Human resource related projects. Broad skill ranges will help. Human resource management. Interactivity.
6
The scope of a project is what the project is supposed to accomplish. The scope of a project also includes the budget and the amount of time allotted to that project. A change in the scope of project is called scope creep. Scope creep is the piling up of small changes that by themselves are manageable.
