1 Biblical Chronology Solved, Part II The Real Bible Code Daniel Gregg 40 The 40 th year of Solomon's reign The 1 st year of Solomon's reign In Part I, it was shown that Solomon's first year began in the year 3117 from the creation of the world. Solomon reigned 40 years The northern Kingdom of Israel revolts Ezekiel's Vision of 390 years for Israel's sin. (Ezek. 4:5) Ezekiel's vision matches the 5 th year of the exile of Jehoiachin (Ezek. 1:1). 7 The 7 th year of Nebuchadnezzar (Jer. 52:28), when the city fell, and Jehoiachin taken captive. When was Nebuchadnezzar's 7 th year in terms of the B.C. date?

2 B.C. dates first become absolutely certain in the Babylonian Period. The dates of pagan nations are uncertain before this, but God knew that we would be able to figure out the Babylonian and Persian dates. Therefore, he allows them to be used in the Bible. The tablets pictured here begin, "Year 37 of Nebukadnezar, King of Babylon" and give accurate positions of Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, and Saturn. Astronomers calculated that these planets were in these unique positions only between the spring of 568 and 567 B.C B.C. 567 B.C B.C. 586 B.C B.C. 597 B.C. 604 B.C. 603 B.C. 1 st Year of Nebuchadnezzar 7 th Year of Nebuchadnezzar

And it shall come to pass in that day, that the great trumpet shall be blown, and they shall come which were ready to perish in the land of Assyria, and the outcasts in the land of Egypt, and shall worship the LORD in the holy mount at Jerusalem. (Isaiah 27:13) Then shall thou cause the trumpet of the jubilee to sound on the tenth day of the seventh month, in the day of atonement shall ye make the trumpet sound throughout all your land. And ye shall hallow the fiftieth year, and proclaim liberty throughout all the land unto all the inhabitants thereof: it shall be a jubilee unto you; and ye shall return every man unto his possession, and ye shall return every man unto his family. (Lev. 25:9-10). Does Isaiah's allusion to the Jubilee match the fall of Nineveh?

(Isaiah 27:13) Does Isaiah's allusion to the Jubilee match the fall of Nineveh? 3528 divided by 49 = 72 remainder 0  Jubilee Yes, it is an exact match. Liberty is proclaimed in Assyria, and is announced on Tishri 10 in Judea. (This prophecy still has an eschatological aspect yet to be fulfilled.)

The northern Kingdom dated its reigns from the first month of spring in synch with the creation years. 12 Jehu slew Jehoram of Israel and reigned for 28 years. In this case Jehu counted his first year in the 12 th year of the one whom he slew. I have only charted to his 7 th year …to his 18 th year 40 Joash of Judah reigned in the 7 th year of Jehu for 40 years. He counts the part year before Tishri 1 as his first year because he followed the usurper Athaliah. 847 B.C B.C. After Joash, Amaziah reigned 40 years. I have only charted to his 15 th year

24 3384 The Kings Continued The Real Bible Code Daniel Gregg B.C. After Joash, Amaziah reigned 40 years. I have only charted to his 15 th year 1 27 Jeroboam II reigned in the 15 th year of Amaziah for 41 years. I have only charted to his 27 th year B.C B.C. Uzziah reigned in the 27 th year of Jeroboam 52 years. Uzziah ascended the throne after a vacancy at the age of 16. His accession year is therefore his first year B.C. After Uzziah, Jotham reigned 16 years B.C. After Jotham, Ahaz reigned 16 years. His 16 th year was very brief. And this brings us to Hezekiah, which we already figured out on slides Hezekiah was corex in the 15 th year of Ahaz, but his first year was not counted until the 16 th year of Ahaz, when he began his sole rule. Hezekiah's 29 th year was very short, and Manasseh, his son was made king at the start of that year.

25 Biblical Chronology Solved, Part II The Real Bible Code Daniel Gregg The chronology of the divided kingdom to the link up with B.C. dates is completely secured by the 390 years of Ezekiel 4:5. That fact that this 390 years works out exactly from the division of the kingdom when Jeroboam I caused Israel to sin to the date of the prophet's vision clearly shows that God intended it to be a chronological check on the complicated data of the kings. This is not the only meaning of the 390 years. In fact, it is only a secondary meaning apart from its primary reference. But I will cover that in a later presentation. I cannot yet promise that there are no date typo's in this presentation. Refer to the Scroll of Biblical Chronology and Prophecy for the exemplar. Please me if you find one, and I will fix it.
