2. This legend is related to the times, when the castle in Olsztyn is already in ruins. Near the castle a poor boy was pasturing his cows. One day a group of nasty boys ran towards him and threw his hat down to the castle dungeon.

3. The poor boy went underground, where he saw a black dog, which according to the legend, had been guarding the hidden treasure. The dog spoke to the boy in a human voice and he filled the boy`s hat with valuables. When the boy came up to the surface, the nasty boys saw the treasures and wished to have them, too.

4. One of the ordered to throw his hat down to the castle dungeon and he went down to take it by himself. However, he has never come back. Since then, his spirit has been seen near the castle.
