The new content covers issues on campaigns done by ZIMTA, the training programs and results achieved on legal issues and how they apply to members and the education sector. 2. Empowerment of members is crucial and ZIMTA believes that information sharing is part of the empowerment process. 3.The teachers’ magazine is produced once every term. 4. Production of the magazine is partly funded by ZIMTA’s cooperating partner Lararforbundet. 5. The current challenge regarding the distribution of ZIMTA magazines is that distribution of copies only covers up to 75percent of the membership. 6. The dream is to ensure that the magazine gets wider distribution amongst the membership and to all stakeholders by The magazine has also attracted a substantial amount of adverts, a positive development for ZIMTA as this supplements revenue for the publication. 8. The membership is encouraged to also channel communication through the ZIMTA magazine, and this can be done through the letters to the Editor Column.

Unlike the Magazine, the Newsletter is more frequent in its production as it is produced twice per term. 2. At least 40 thousand copies of the ZIMTA Newsletter are produced twice per term, with the aim of ensuring that every member gets a copy. 3.Issues contained in the newsletters are generally meant to be used during the branch, district, provincial and sometimes national meetings to inform the agenda and discourse during meetings. 4.An online version of the ZIMTA Newsletter is also available for those with access to internet. Some of the ZIMTA Twitter followers have been engaging ZIMTA in conversations seeking to get more information or to understand the nature of messages posted, it is also encouraging to see teachers engaging each other on the same platform in direct conversion about issues that affect them in the line of duty.
