9 Radio communication system ZARE An autonomous and a common radio communication system and a pagging system are daily used by leading the protection and rescue actions. The ZARE system is used by all protection and rescue forces. The communicating central points are situated in Regional Natification Centres

28 European Commission (2) The Administration is involved in activities related to: Slovenian participation in NEDIES Project, EC/JRC EU workshops, seminars, courses, etc. Community mechanism - Slovenia signed Memorandum of Understanding in the field of civil protection in November 2002

29 European Commission (3) Single European Emergency Call Number 112 Citizens can reach all rescue services on 112 : –firefighters –ambulance –other rescue services (mountain and cave rescuers, others) –police (also 113) hours per day - From stationary or mobile phones, free of charge - Through 13 regional Notification Centers
