Housekeeping...pt. 1 At 6:00 PM, prior to each meeting, district resource professionals will be available if you have questions or missed a meeting. All presented materials and information will be distributed to you as handouts and/or posted on the Allen ISD website Project Kids 2015 Bond Tab. Because of time constraints, no breaks have been scheduled, so please take breaks as needed. Restrooms and exits are right out the doors behind you.

Public School Finance Texas Education Code - Chapter 45 Bonds may not be issued and taxes may not be levied unless authorized by a majority of the qualified voters of the district, voting at an election held for that purpose, at the expense of the district, in accordance with the Election Code. If the Bond Election is passed by the Voters, it provides an authorized maximum dollar amount for the District to sell bonds and incur debt. Sale of Bonds Must be approved by the Board of Trustees Rarely sold all at once – usually sold in increments over multiple years With potential Nov. 2015 Bond Election, first bond sale in early 2016 and Debt Service payments begin in August 2016 (Fiscal Year 2016-2017)
