Regular school attendance is essential to success in school. Students and parents need to make daily attendance to all classes a priority. Every effort should be made to schedule appointments, vacations, and other family business outside the school day. Consequences for tardies: 1 st tardy – warning 2 nd tardy – call home, detention, citizenship lowered to “G” 3 rd tardy – call home, detention, citizenship lowered to “S” 4 th tardy – call home, referral to counselor or VP, Saturday School, citizenship lowered to “N” 5 th tardy – call home, referral to counselor or VP, Saturday School, citizenship lowered to “U”, parent conference **A conference will be held with parents and their students that have been habitually late or truant.
