4. Process of Our Master Schedule Development Committee reviewed five sample schedules and ranked the top two. Principal sought input from various stakeholders. Committee reviewed feedback from stakeholders. Committee made final recommendation to the Board of Education. Final proposals were presented to BOE Education Committee.

5. Where Are We Now? Nine period day, 40 minute-periods Four core classes (LA, Math, Sci, SS) 9000 minutes in grades 6 & 7—including academic cycle 7200 minutes in grade 8 World Language exploratory in grades 6 & 7; full-year in grade 8 PE and Exploratory/Elective each day Enrichment in grades 6-8 Lunch/Advisory

6. Proposed Schedule Cores are 40 minutes, 60 minutes, and 80 minutes long and rotate. All grades receive 9900 minutes of instructional time per core class. PE/Exploratory/Elective meet every day. Lunch is 20 minutes, only one team at a time. World Language meets everyday. FAPA period meets everyday. Pull-outs from Exploratory, PE, Electives, FAPA.
