7 “Ups”

1) Wake up ------- and decide to have a good day

(Psalms 118:24) Today is the day the Lord hath made; let us rejoice and be glad in it.

(Psalms 90:14) O satisfy us early with thy mercy; that we may rejoice and be glad all our days

(Psalms 31:7) I will be glad and rejoice in thy mercy: for thou hast considered my trouble; thou hast known my soul in adversities;

(Psalms 32:11) Be glad in the LORD, and rejoice, ye righteous: and shout for joy, all ye that are upright in heart.

2) Dress up The best way to dress up is remember what God has done for you and put a smile on your face.

(Ephesians 6: ) Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.

(I Samuel 16:7) The Lord does not look at the things man looks at
(I Samuel 16:7) The Lord does not look at the things man looks at. Man looks at outward appearance; but the Lord looks at the heart.

(Jeremiah 17:10) I the LORD search the heart, I try the reins, even to give every man according to his ways, and according to the fruit of his doings.

(1 Kings 8:39) Then hear thou in heaven thy dwelling place, and forgive, and do, and give to every man according to his ways, whose heart thou knowest; (for thou, even thou only, knowest the hearts of all the children of men;)

3) Shut up ------- say nice things and learn to listen

(Proverbs 13:3) He that keepeth his mouth keepeth his life: but he that openeth wide his lips shall have destruction.

(Proverbs 21:23) Whoso keepeth his mouth and his tongue keepeth his soul from troubles.

(Proverbs 18:21) Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.

(James 3:2) For in many things we offend all
(James 3:2) For in many things we offend all. If any man offend not in word, the same is a perfect man, and able also to bridle the whole body.

(Matthew 5:44) But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;

(Matthew 7:3) And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother's eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye?

4) Stand Up ------ For what you believe in.

(Galatians 6:9-10) Let us not be weary in doing good; for at the proper time, we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith.

(Luke 16:13) No servant can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon. (or SATAN)

(1 Thessalonians 5:15) See that none render evil for evil unto any man; but ever follow that which is good, both among yourselves, and to all men.

(Titus 3:8) This is a faithful saying, and these things I will that thou affirm constantly, that they which have believed in God might be careful to maintain good works. These things are good and profitable unto men.

5) Look Up ------ To the Lord

(Philippians 4:13) I can do everything through Christ who strengthens me.

(John 15:5) I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.

(2 Corinthians 12:9) And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.

(Acts 4:12) Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.

6) Reach up --------- For something Higher

(Matthew 6:19-21) Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal: But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal: For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.

(Proverbs 3:5-6) "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not unto your own understanding. In all your ways, acknowledge Him, and He will direct your path."

7) Lift Up ------ Your Prayers

(Philippians 4:6) "Do not worry about anything; instead PRAY ABOUT EVERYTHING."

(Psalm 55:22) Cast thy burden upon the LORD, and he shall sustain thee: he shall never suffer the righteous to be moved.

(Proverbs 16:3) Commit thy works unto the LORD, and thy thoughts shall be established.

(Matthew 6:25-26) 25 Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment?

26 Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they?

(1 Peter 5:7) Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.

(Ephesians 6:18) Pray at all times in the Spirit, with all prayer and supplication. To that end keep alert with all perseverance, making supplication for all the saints;
