1. I live personally accountable to God (16-21). (Daniel 12:2) Multitudes who sleep in the dust of the earth will awake: some to everlasting life, others to shame and everlasting contempt.

4. Why the gospel is good news Righteousness – God is perfect, holy, cannot tolerate sin. Self-control – We are sinners, lacking the power to stop sinning. Judgment to come – Therefore, we deserve God’s eternal judgment on our sin. GOOD NEWS – Faith in Christ brings forgiveness and power over sin!
