Founding Fathers John Adams was the first vice president of the United States and was the Second President of the United States. Benjamin Franklin invented the lightning rod Alexander Hamilton served in the American Revolutionary war. John Jay served as the president of the continental Congress.
New England was known for buying slaves from west Africa.
The middle colonies were known for grains, oats, logging, ship building, textiles production and paper making and big cities, blacksmiths, silversmiths, cobblers, wig makers, and others.
The Southern colonies were known for rice, indigo, tobacco, sugar cane, cotton.
If you were middle class you would live in a one or two room house. If you were poor you would use whatever you could find. If you were rich you would have a lot of marble statues in your hallways and have a average house today in size.
Basket makers wove hand made baskets, Blacksmiths were crafters who would make tools for fellow tradesmen. Brick makers made bricks out of molds.
