Now try tearing each in the middle. You will find that even though they all have about the same bed surface area, it’s easiest to tear the paper towel, harder to tear the cardboard, and impossible to tear the wooden board. Now based on this experiment, determine whether this image is depicting a soft slab (paper towel) or a hard slab (cardboard or cutting board). Hard Slab Soft Slab
