2  Exodus 1  Israelites multiplied in numbers and strength in Egypt  Joseph and his brothers dies  A new King comes to power with new strategies to control Israelites (Exodus 1:8-11)  Special instructions to mid wives ( Exodus 1: 15 & 16)  God blesses mid wives ( Exodus 1:20-21)  King’s command to all his people to throw the male child into the Nile river

3  Exodus 2  Moses comes from the Levi family  Moses ends up in the Pharaoh’s palace (Exodus 2:3- 10)

4  Moses visits his people ( Exodus 2:11&12)  Moses kills an Egyptian  Moses questions two fighting Hebrews (Exodus 2:13-14)  Moses flees to Midian (Exodus 2:15)  Moses getting married to a Midian woman

5  Exodus 3  Moses and the burning bush (Exodus 3:1-5)  God’s call to Moses ( Exodus 3:7-10)

10  They started their journey out of captivity after 430 years from Egypt( Exodus 12:40 &41)  God’s pillar of fire and cloud lead the people all the time (Exodus 13:22)

11  Exodus 14:9-29  Egyptians chased the Israelites  Israelites were afraid and unhappy with Moses  Moses split the sea with the power of God  Israelites were saved and Egyptians were destroyed by God

12  Exodus 15:22- 25  Israelites travelled 3 days without water in the desert  At Marah they found water but it was bitter  So Israelites again grumbled against Moses  Moses performed a miracle with the power of God

13  Exodus 16  Israelites grumbled against Moses as they were starving  Moses prays to God  God provided Quails in the evening and Mana in the morning (Exodus 16:13)

14  Exodus 17:1-7  Israelites were camping at Rephidim where there was no water  Israelites were unhappy and quarrelled with Moses  Moses again performed miracle with the power of God  Water flowed from the rock

15  Exodus 17:8-16  Amalekites attacked the Israelites initially  Moses asked Joshua to fight them  Moses went up the hill to pray with Aaron and Hur ( Exodus 17:11-13)

16  Exodus 18:13- 23  Jethro advises Moses to appoint leaders/judges to help him

17  Exodus 20-23  God gives Moses 10 commandments  Other laws pertaining day to day activities

18  Exodus 32  Moses was delayed in the mountain with God  Israelites wanted Aaron to make god for them  Aaron made the golden calf  They began to worship it  God was angry with them (Exodus 32:9-10)  Moses prayed to God (Exodus 32:11-14)

19  Exodus 32  Moses broke the tablets ( Exodus 32:19)  Moses destroyed the golden calf  Moses questions Aaron with anger (Exodus 32:21-22)  Moses killed 3000 people( Exodus 32:28)  Moses pleaded to God to forgive their sins ( Exodus 32:31-35)

20  Numbers 13  As God instructed, Moses sent 12 men to explore the land  They explored the land for 40 days  They gave the report to Moses and Aaron(Numbers 13: 26-33)  Caleb gave the positive report while others gave negative reports

21  God hears groaning of his people (Exodus 2:24)  God not only hears but also delivers his people from slavery/sin  A good leader always pleads for the forgiveness of his people

22  Good people always needs to remember all the good things and be thankful to God  Good people doesn’t grumble or complain  God is not happy with grumbling, complaining and spreading of bad news etc.  Raising hands in prayer and worship brings power and success
