2 Samuel 22:2-4 (NKJV) “The L ORD is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer; 3 The God of my strength, in whom I will trust; My shield and the horn of my salvation, My stronghold and my refuge; My Savior, You save me from violence. 4 I will call upon the L ORD, who is worthy to be praised; So shall I be saved from my enemies.

2 Samuel 22:31 (NKJV) 31 As for God, His way is perfect; The word of the L ORD is proven; He is a shield to all who trust in Him.

Job 13:15 (NKJV) 15 Though He slay me, yet will I trust Him. Even so, I will defend my own ways before Him.

Psalm 9:9-10 (NKJV) 9 The L ORD also will be a refuge for the oppressed, A refuge in times of trouble. 10 And those who know Your name will put their trust in You; For You, L ORD, have not forsaken those who seek You.

Psalm 18:2 (NKJV) 2 The L ORD is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer; My God, my strength, in whom I will trust; My shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.

Psalm 25:1-3 (NKJV) To You, O L ORD, I lift up my soul. O my God, I trust in You; Let me not be ashamed; Let not my enemies triumph over me. Indeed, let no one who waits on You be ashamed; Let those be ashamed who deal treacherously without cause.

Psalm 31:14-15 (NKJV) 14 But as for me, I trust in You, O L ORD ; I say, “You are my God.” 15 My times are in Your hand; Deliver me from the hand of my enemies, And from those who persecute me.

Psalm 32:10-11 (NKJV) 10 Many sorrows shall be to the wicked; But he who trusts in the L ORD, mercy shall surround him. 11 Be glad in the L ORD and rejoice, you righteous; And shout for joy, all you upright in heart!

Psalm 34:4-8 (NKJV) 4 I sought the L ORD, and He heard me, And delivered me from all my fears. 5 They looked to Him and were radiant, And their faces were not ashamed. 6 This poor man cried out, and the L ORD heard him, And saved him out of all his troubles. 7 The angel of the L ORD encamps all around those who fear Him, And delivers them. 8 Oh, taste and see that the L ORD is good; Blessed is the man who trusts in Him!

Psalm 40 (NKJV) 40 I waited patiently for the L ORD ; And He inclined to me, And heard my cry. 2 He also brought me up out of a horrible pit, Out of the miry clay, And set my feet upon a rock, And established my steps. 3 He has put a new song in my mouth—Praise to our God; Many will see it and fear, And will trust in the L ORD. 4 Blessed is that man who makes the L ORD his trust, And does not respect the proud, nor such as turn aside to lies. 5 Many, O L ORD my God, are Your wonderful works Which You have done; And Your thoughts toward us Cannot be recounted to You in order; If I would declare and speak of them, They are more than can be numbered.

Psalm 146:3-5 (NKJV) 3 Do not put your trust in princes, Nor in a son of man, in whom there is no help. 4 His spirit departs, he returns to his earth; In that very day his plans perish. 5 Happy is he who has the God of Jacob for his help, Whose hope is in the L ORD his God,

Proverbs 16:19-20 (NKJV) 19 Better to be of a humble spirit with the lowly, Than to divide the spoil with the proud. 20 He who heeds the word wisely will find good, And whoever trusts in the L ORD, happy is he.
