The sides of script writing with uppercase and lowercase letters It is formed of a basic curved line and another bounding curved side. The sides of the lines change according to the letters. In the texts, if you just use uppercase letters, it will be hard to read and the final product does not seem beautiful.

Free Writing Especially, for the artistic free writing, you can use any objects which leave a mark on the paper.

How to write decorative numbers While writing the numbers, first write with a pencil without pressing too much. In other words, scratch lightly with pencils and then you can follow the lines with ink. If you start writing calligraphy, you should exercise on A5 drawing paper. With italic calligraphic writing, the most convenient angle is 45%.

The size of the letters and the thickness of the line In calligraphic writings, there are three lines. While lowercase is divided into three, uppercase is divided into two. The lenght of the uppercase is eight times bigger than the nib. The lenght of the lowercase is five times bigger than the nib. Letter spaces are narrow with uncial letters and with the letters coming before and after these “A,T,V,T and Y” In calligraphic writing exercises, the nibs of the pens should be at the exact position to not to lose the length and the thickness of the letters. You can benefit from the checked notebooks to teach calligraphic writing.

Italic Writing They can be written faster than the other types of writing. This style is the mostly used style for the calligraphers. You can write without removing your hand from the paper.

Rounded Writing It is convenient to write with panelled nibs.

Gothic Writing It is written with a special pen and it is one of the hardest style of writing. In gothic style, you cannot use uppercase letters respectively. Left-flat nibs are used. The lines seem as if broken in the beginning and end of the letters. You use the nibs without raising your hand and by sliding the pen down, up, right and left.
