MAPS A map shows where something is or how to find it.

CHARTS A chart is a representation of data.

HEADINGS AND SUBHEADINGS
Headings are the most important part of a paper or something you read. It’s usually the title. Subheadings are the parts that give you more detail about the heading. Its like a smaller heading. INDEX Index is to look up something in a book. You will find it in the back of a book. For Example: the index will show you what page to find something. K.Z., ELL Literacy Level 3 –Metzler 2009

BULLETS Bullets are for listing things.

NUMBERING Numbering is to put something in order.
