2 Company set up in 1996 in Delhi by Mr. Narendra Bansal, Chairman & Managing Director Dealing in Ethernet card only. The product portfolio expanded very rapidly from Ethernet Cards and covers today wide range of IT Hardware, IT/Consumer Electronics, Power Electronics, Telecom ( GSM Handsets ) & In Car Accessories products. 3 Overview – Intex Group The Intex Group of Companies comprises of –Intex Technologies (India) Ltd (ITIL) – Technical Development, Marketing, Brand Management and Distribution. –Intex Industries – Manufacturing, Jammu, J & K –Kipav Industries – Manufacturing, Baddi, Himachal Pradesh ITIL clocked a turnover of Rs.333 crore in FY and a CAGR of 47% plus over the last 6 years. Target for is Rs.600 Crores.

20 Exercise initiated in TVCs on PC, DVD Players aired on TV channels- Doordarshan, Star News, Zee Business, Zee News, ESPN, Star Sports As a strategy, maximum spent on sports events including Cricket, Hockey & Tennis (Wimbledon) Activity continued in with about 40% increase in ad-spend. New TVCs made for Notebooks, Home UPS & Subwoofers. July 2007 and India – Australia Test series Jul-Aug TVC’s were also aired during the World Cup Cricket Tournament in Max / Sab Channels. This year TVC’s on PC, DVD Players, Home Theatre, Home UPS aired on TV channels- Star News, Zee Business, NDTV, IBN7. Participation in IITF at Pragati Maidan since Received Special Commendation Medal from ITPO in IT & Electronics Category for Display van for Home UPS and Mobile Phone across Delhi, Haryana & NCR, March-April,2007 PR activity, commenced in , in electronic & print media profiling company news, personalities and products. 31 The manufacturing facility is based at Jammu, Bari Bhramana spread on 80,000 Sq. Ft of Land in which 30,000 Sq. Ft is built up area. Commercial production started in March, It enjoys income tax, sales tax and excise tax exemptions This modern facility manufactures desktop PCs, subwoofers/speakers and UPS that are sold under the INTEX brand. Certified as ISO 14000: 2004 EMS unit.

33 Kipav has been formed for the purpose of setting up a state-of-the-art manufacturing unit at Baddi, Himachal Pradesh, where it enjoys excise and income tax benefits The locational advantage of this unit and the statutory benefits available for a period of 10 years commencing FY are motivating factors to set up another manufacturing base. The group has acquired Industrial land of 5000 sq mts. Kipav Industries

34 Pending construction of the factory at Baddi, we have commenced production at a unit in Nalagarh This unit has been commissioned on April 3, 2007 and is producing UPS (for desktops) and Home UPS (Inverters). Spread over a production area of 32,000 sq ft, the unit currently has a team of 50 employees to look after the production operations. Manpower strength is expected to touch 150 within next four months. Production of SMPS and Desktop Computers for sale and PCBs and transformers for captive consumption will commence in the coming months for which state-of-the art machinery and equipment has been ordered.
