Do you prefer being downtown in the morning or at night?
We just prefer being in the morning, because in the morning, the sun light give us chance to do anything useful for our live. But at night, there’s only stars that not give us many light to doing a useful work.

3. C I T Y In the morning the city Spreads its wings Making a song
In stone that sings.
In the evening the city
Goes to bed
Hanging lights
About its head.

In stone that sings. (di dalam batu ia bernyanyi)

Goes to bed (orang beranjak tidur)
Hanging lights (menyalakan lampu)
About its head. (diatas kepalanya)

Burung membentangkan sayapnya
Burung itu membuat lagu
Dan diantara gedung-gedung itu ia
bernyanyi
Sedangkan, kota di malam hari
Orang mulai beranjak tidur
Kemudian menyalakan lampu
Yang ada diatas kepalanya

How do the two things look/act alike?
The city is compared to a bird. When the city gets active & noisy in the morning, it’s like a bird spreading its wing & singing.

a person; city quiets down & rests as if it were a person going to bed.
