How to choose the correct waste category; this might require organisations to check the original DCF carbon factors spreadsheet (waste disposal) to see which factor describes the waste stream/disposal route most accurately Some factors we need aren’t available; new factors can be added but this is tricky. However, factors that are not used can be overwritten with alternative factors (ask RES for instructions).
