Still, others see a closed door, try the knob, if it doesn’t open, they find a key, if the key doesn’t fit … then they turn away. 27 What is Partners in Policymaking? Partners in Policymaking is a leadership training and development course for disabled adults and parents of disabled children. The are approximately 35 participants on the course, these will be people who…  Think that life could be better for disabled children and adults.  Want to improve the way things are now but may not be clear where to start. When we use the term disabled, we are including people with learning difficulties, people with sensory impairments and people with physical impairments.
