Students Critique Their Online Class

Student Feedback As a professional dealing with all levels of health service and business people around the world, I found this class to be a comparable experience to the real world. I actually learned how to share the desktop effectively in this online speech class which I was able to use immediately at work.... saving an afternoon of frustration to say the least. It is good exposure for people who may not have had the technological experience before.

Student Feedback Since I believe there is always room for improvement, I would suggest a marriage of face- to-face with the conference tool as a distance learning class. Effective public speaking now involves video conferencing as well as in-person presentations, I think 1 of the 3 speeches given to a group has some considerable value.

Student Feedback When I signed up for the class, I wasn't sure what would be required. I've traveled extensively during the class (England for 3 weeks, Belgium for 2, Boston, Manhattan, Baltimore, etc..) I don't think I would have been able to take it if it wasn't online. I was home for one speech, so I would imagine I could have managed to make it to an evening class for a face-to-face, - though my trips are unpredictable......

Outcomes  Students Performed Speech Requirements  Added 21 st Century Workforce Skill  Enhanced Technical Abilities
