Wyoming Public High Schools The Federal Four-Year Adjusted Cohort Graduation Rate, or “on- time” graduation rate, is based on requirements introduced by the United States Department of Education in 2008 The shift to the this graduation rate methodology was required in order to comply with the federal Elementary and Secondary Education Act (ESEA) The methodology requires all states to account for students using the same criteria, and use the same graduation rate calculation to promote comparability across states. 3. Graduation!!!
