1 Esta semana, México conmemora el 200 aniversario del inicio de la Guerra de la Independencia. En septiembre de 1810, un sacerdote mexicano llamado Miguel Hidalgo y Costilla lanzó un llamado a las armas contra los españoles, más tarde conocido como el Grito de Dolores ("Grito de Dolores"). Poco después comenzó una serie de batallas con los españoles que se basaría en una guerra que duró más de una década, lo que implicaría en la independencia. Este año del bicentenario, decenas de miles de mexicanos se agolpaban en las calles de la Ciudad de México para celebrar.
