1. It’s Up to Us! We are to Understand that God has given to us His Grace to operate and walk in…

2. We decide how much and when… The Spirit of the prophet is subject to the prophets …(I Cor. 14:32) God has already decided and given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness …(2 Pet. 1:3) The promises and gifts are yes and amen to those who believe …(II Cor. 1:20) In other words, God is waiting on us to act!

3. Missing the Mark of our calling… We’ve been waiting for God decide… We’ve been waiting for God to lead… We’ve been waiting for God to act… We’ve been praying for God to decide, lead, and act …AND HE HAS ALREADY DONE THESE THINGS IN CHRIST JESUS, IN HIS WORD, AND THROUGH THE HOLY SPIRIT!

4. The Computer Analogy… My computer comes with many programs but I decide which ones will run and operate on the screen… All of the programs are available, waiting, ALREADY willing, ALREADY decided, ALREADY, predetermined what they will do, what they can do, WHEN I’M ready to use them… Likewise, God’s word is ALREADY willing, decided, and waiting to be believed and acted upon…

5. We have been given dominion… We are to operated that dominion according to God’s plans, plays, and dispensations… IN a very profound way, We decide who is going to be saved! This is decided by who we pray for and who we witness to; it is decided by how ready we are when the opportunity arises to share with someone…

6. We are NOT God; however God has subjected Himself to us… On the one hand, we decide if we are going to seek God, read, study, pray, make it to practices, and be in the position to be FILLED with the Holy Spirit… On the other hand, it is up to and ALREADY IS THE WILL, of the Holy Spirit to fill us, mold, make and use us. When it comes to being led, we also must lead! This is what is meant by being CO-LABORERS with God!

7. We have music CD’s and movie DVD’s… We purchased them and have access to them whenever we decide to play them… I can choose and it is up to me which songs I listen to, which movie and how long I watch it; it is up to ME! I didn’t will the songs or the movies, I’m not the author or creator; however the author and creator has given ME permission to use, play and operate their stuff! I don’t have to call them each time I pick up the CD or DVD to play it where, when, or how long—it is up to me!

8. God’s programs like a computer are already running… What a strange way it is that we turn on our computer and begin using any of the programs we want without one thought of asking the owners, creators, or authors for their permission…Why, because when we bought the programs we already have their permission! God’s Word has already been written, given, and spoken on our behalf. It is up to us to begin using it, operating within His Word, and exercising the power and dominion given to us IN Jesus’ Name!

9. This is How we Got Saved in the first place! We heard the Word of the gospel concerning salvation. We understood and were convinced what Jesus had wrought in the cross in dying for our sins. We were commanded to repent and surrender. We believed in our hearts and then confessed with our mouth that Jesus is Lord.

10. The Salvation Program had been planned from before the foundation of the world… It was made available to us through the preaching of the Word. It wasn’t re-created each time a person hears it; it was already running. Then, ultimately, we responded to God’s gift and grace; we responded to His plan and will on the matter, and gave our hearts to Christ. Repent or Perish!

11. In Responding…We exercised FAITH! God requires us to believe Him, obey, and respond to Him accordingly…that is FAITH! Faith responds by believing it is true and being convinced enough to ACT upon it. We have been given Faith to act upon God’s Word. In fact that is what God is after our faith to respond and act upon His already given and decided grace!

12. Salvation for us individually is up to us as well… Someone had to preach to us and share the gospel message; then, we have to respond to it; it is up to us! Likewise, all of God’s promises are given and already running; then, we have to respond to them, engage in them, and act upon them STEPPING ON God’s Word because we believe—that is Faith!

13. Our Faith must agree with God’s programming… We can’t have good intentions and miss the mark and expect results… That is like trying to turn on a lamp when it is not connected to an outlet or doesn’t have a bulb in it. We can have all the good intentions in the world but that lamp will not turn on light! Many times we have defined faith and presumed the faith of others wrongly…then when the results are NOT according to the program we invent reasons, excuses, and explanations to understand the poor results!

14. Remaining Steadfast in the steps of the truth get results… When someone doesn’t get saved we don’t ask God if it is God’s will to save them…we already KNOW it is God’s will. However, there are those who have taken the position that SOME are not predestined to salvation! This explanation then removes the certainty of God’s will in the matter and when such doubts are introduce FAITH Is weakened and destroyed.

15. We must be convinced of God’s will and Word… The very definition of FAITH is KNOWING God’s will…and then acting upon it! James teaches us plainly that DOUBT or being DOUBLE- MINDED will prevent us from receiving anything from God. Doubt and double-mindedness is NOT OF GOD and makes us UNSTABLE! This principle is VITAL; the principle of knowing God’s will on any matter!

16. We Cannot respond in Faith when we don’t know God’s will… The Work of the Word of God and the Ministry of the Holy Spirit is to convict, convince, and convert us from the kingdom of Darkness (Not knowing) to the Kingdom of Light (Knowing God’s Will). The Wisdom of God, and Words of Knowledge, the gift of discernment, prophecy, all gifts of the Holy Spirit dwell in us if indeed the Holy Spirit is in us!

17. God’s will is for us to KNOW GOD’S WILL! There are many verses of scripture that spell this out…we are not to remain between opinions about God’s will but to seek and to know His Will. For Example: Eph. 1:7,8,9 7 In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace 8 which He made to abound toward us in all wisdom and prudence, 9 having made known to us the mystery of His will, according to His good pleasure which He purposed in Himself,

18. A few others… Eph. 1:17-19 17 that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him, 18 the eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that you may know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, 19 and what is the exceeding greatness of His power toward us who believe, according to the working of His mighty power

19. Romans 12: 2 2 And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.

20. Why does He Want us to know His Will? So that we can operate in it by Faith! So that we can exercise it, perform it through the power of the Holy Spirit that agrees with God’s Will. Law number One: We must know God’s Will! Law number Two: We must agree with God’s will for the Holy Spirit to Work and bring it to pass! Law number Three: It is up to us to know God’s will by seeking, pursuing, and believing His Word and understanding! Then, to act upon it!

21. Faith and Grace: some profound statements to renew our minds and thinking according to God’s Will! Our faith doesn’t Move God! God’s Grace has already Moved! It is up to Us to respond to God’s Will Our doubts indicate we are NOT convinced of God’s Will! These doubts must be addressed! By Faith, any amount of Faith, we respond to God’s program and act upon it bringing God’s will onto the scene or situation!

22. Breaking it Down… The Holy Spirit is waiting for us to acknowledge everything that God has decided and done on our behalf! (Philemon 1:6) We do this by knowing God’s Will and Word and then acting upon it! Our conversation and our statements reveal where our hearts are in regards to God’s Will! It reveals whether or not we are sold or unsold, convinced, or not convinced, in agreement or not in agreement with God’s program.

23. The Holy Spirit Confirms, Witnesses, and fulfills God’s Will when we are aligned with it! We can not get saved until we agree with God’s plan of salvation: –Jesus is the way! –Confess our sins! –Surrender and bow! –Confess Jesus is Lord! –Claim and agree we are Saved!

24. This is the program! Romans 10: 9-11 9 that if you confess with your mouth the believe in your heart Lord Jesus and that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

25. In the Same Way we received Salvation in Christ, So walk in Him! The same process works for all of God’s promises: –Salvation –Guidance (hearing God’s voice & leading) –Protection –Provision –Healing –The gifts of the Holy Spirit!

26. Concluding… We must Know God’s Will and be convinced, no doubting! We must be in agreement with the Holy Spirit— good intentions not good enough! We must Act upon it; it is up to us! This is Faith! Hebrews 11:1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. The evidence is being convinced that God has done it…and knowing what it is He’s done!
