12 IMPACTS Impact on the academic programmes and the increased workload Impact on the QMD department with limited resources and the alignment of simultaneous development with implementation Creating a focal point for the alignment of key processes The project has done much to keep quality as a mainstream activity within CPUT.

13 THE WAY FORWARD The need for consolidation of conformance and consistency amongst faculties The continued development and implementation of policies Taking the decision on whether to contract out surveys or undertake them in-house.
