The region is looking for partners with interest in one of alle of the above mentioned dimensions.

Preikestolen were visited by 200 000 in 2013 and is therefore the bigest natural tourist attraction in Norway The economic effects of these tourist streams are not optimalised in the region

6. - sammen om trivsel Project idea Ryfylke intends to look at measures that will stimulate the tourist to spend more time and money in the region Objective: How to generate economic growth in the tourist sector Ryfylke wants to develop a project with the following: –How to develop new attractive «trails» og «routes»? (For example «Local foodtrail», «Architecture route» or «Tourism based on Industry» –How to attract investors to the tourist sector? (need for developers with knowledge and capital for tourism products) –How to develop new businesses, products and services? (What public policy approaches are succesfull in this respect)
