11. I KNOW you all like stories from the Bible, like: - Daniel in the Lion’s Den - Noah and the Ark - Jesus walking on the Water Most of us enjoyed coloring in our favorite “coloring book”. Well, I’m going to show you MY favorite coloring book and I’ll tell you why it’s so special to me. One of MY favorite stories is to read about when the world was created.

14. Elijah and the widow woman Elijah was fleeing from King Ahab and Queen Jezebel… God pressed upon him to go to Zarephath and to inquire of a widow woman there. You know the story. He came upon the widow as she was gathering sticks. He ask her for a drink of water and then for some food. She replied that she had only enough for a one small cake that she was going to bake for herself and her son and then she was going to die --- as there was NO MORE food. Elijah instructed her to make a cake for him FIRST. She obeyed and was blessed by God for her faithfulness.

17. Jesus and the Samaritan Woman Jesus met the Samaritan woman at Jacob’s well and he asked her for a drink of water… She questioned why He, being a Jew, would speak with a Samaritan. Jesus replied: “If thou knewest the gift of God, and who it is that saith to thee, Give me to drink; thou wouldest have asked of Him, and He would have given thee living water.” “Whosoever drinkest of this water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life.” She relied: “Sir, give me this water, that I thirst not, neither come hither to draw.” God, give us THIS DAY the living water!!!

(Luke 4:18,19) “The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; He hath sent me to heal the broken-hearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised, to preach the acceptable year of the Lord.” Don’t lose hope. God is our protector and our defender!

28. (Romans 10:9) teaches us: “That if thou shall confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved!”

29. EVERYONE, please bow your head and repeat this prayer with me. “Dear God. I believe that Jesus Christ is your SON. I believe He was crucified for my sins, and on the third day, you raised Him up from the dead. I ask you now to forgive me of my sins and come into my heart to live forever in Jesus’ name, Amen.”
