Standards: RL.9-10.3, RL.9-10.10, L.9-10.4a, L.9-10.5a Journal: What date is your unit exam for the Glass Menagerie? Which character and symbol(s) are you going to write about for your short essay?

4. Class Discussion Write notes on the following questions: What did you think of the ending? Did anything in the movie surprise you? What did you think of the characters in the movie vs. the play? What experience do you think is better for the Glass Menagerie – Reading it, or watching it acted out? Why? If you wrote the play, how would you have ended it? Be prepared to share out answers when called on.

5. Compare/Contrast Movie and Play Choose one character from the play and fill out the compare/contrast chart.

6. Review Short Answer Questions Take your worksheets out (all 7 of them!!) so we can review the short answer questions. We will go around the room. Be prepared to share out.
